INYO "BACK THEN" IN 2007

Inyo blows off some steam: One the preparation Saturday, a leaky boiler (mud ring) plug was found. The steam and water were dumped from the boiler, the plug was fixed, and Lee "Hobo" Hobold waited until Sunday morning to fire the Inyo up again. He was concerned that the boiler be allowed to cool before putting cold water back in.

Pre-run crew meeting with former volunteer President Ron Allen in the conductor's uniform. Having two steam locomotives at once is unusual for the museum, and the crew is large. Tom Tobacco covers the safety rules and gives operating instructions
